Have you ever thought about making a collection of your fishing strikes?

This guy went ahead and created a video based on his special collection of 50 strikes on top water lures. You get to see which frog lures were used and many spectacular hits.  The lures are usually retrieved at a fast pace so when the big bass hits there is a large or even huge splash of water around the lure.

The strikes were observed in several settings on different lakes so that adds interest to the many shots. You will probably recognize some.  The hits happen so fast that you have to look carefully to see the bass or its shadow above the water.  sometimes all you seems the splash because the bass hardly breaks the surface.  I know from experience that the strikes on a top water lure can be fast and hard.  Suddenly the fish is on your line and fighting hard.  You just need to keep the tip of your rod up and reel the fish in.  It is a great experience and the scene is etched into your memory.
