There some great underwater shots, too.  Joshua explains how the bass are scattered in the lakes later in the summer when all of the fish have left their spawning beds.  I encounter this situation often since I usually have a busy work schedule in the spring and early summer so end up on the Minnesota lakes around or after the July 4th holidays.
